What do you wish you could do ie sing, ride a horse, play chess, speak another lanuguage, juggle, play the piano, fly a plane.....what do you wish you could do?

I wish I could sing- in tune ;-) .

I wish I could wake up a Size 12 :D ..............................

Oooooo yes!!! Size 12.

Just remembered I wish I could dance well and not just around the handbag type of dance and I wish my memory was better

Ditto to Archer.

Like most women I can juggle - I juggle housework and shopping, job, children, etc etc. I sing my heart out most days in the car, totally out of tune and get the words wrong but hey I don't care.  I do wish I could ride a horse, I doubt I would find one strong enough now  but yes I would love to be able to ride a horse.  I always wanted to own a dog but my OH resisted until last year so I have that wish granted at least :)

LOL, this is familiar, I feel sorry for Idõ when we have a long journey to a show, his poor ears must be ringing by the time we arrive :D :D

I wish I could play piano, or any instrument, my brother is very musical so I think he's got all the music genes! I can ride a horse but I wish I had time to ride more and could find a horse that doesn't want to throw me off or kick me!!
- By ice_queen Date 25.09.05 18:19 UTC
...handle dogs! :D

Though I would love to be fluent in at least two other languages.

I would love to be able to play the piano, im sure it must be a gift because I never mastered it (not with two hands anyway :( )
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 25.09.05 21:35 UTC
If I could play the piano properly, so that people could dance or sing along - like Jools Holland - I'd be happy.
- By earl [gb] Date 25.09.05 21:43 UTC
My piano teacher probably wishes I could play the piano!  :D

I wish I had a job I enjoyed.
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 25.09.05 21:52 UTC
I'd quite like a job! ;) I'm bored with signing on.
- By pinklilies Date 25.09.05 21:36 UTC
I would love to learn the cello....but with the expense of the 2 dogs, let alone the time needed, I dont think that I can realistically do it :(
- By Daisy [gb] Date 25.09.05 21:52 UTC
I'd like to sing like Alison Moyet :) I've had nasal problems since I was a child and can't breathe well enough to sing well (I'm not sure whether my family would be pleased or not if I could sing better :D ;) )

Ooh yes, Alison Moyet has a terrific voice.

.........see the tail end of 2005, it's been a horrible year.  :(  :(  :(
- By CherylS Date 25.09.05 23:05 UTC
hear hear ChristineW - it has for me too!  I am expecting changes before the end of the year though.  Determined to have a good Christmas, I am going to make that happen

Play the guitar.  In fact I just wish I was musical.  However, I will keep trying with my lack of natural talent :D
- By Mary-Caroline [gb] Date 30.09.05 11:51 UTC
Use chopsticks.  And blowdry my hair like a professional.

I can ride and play piano and violin - if anyone's willing to teach me how to use chopsticks I'll swap knowledge! :-)
- By Dill [gb] Date 02.10.05 01:30 UTC
LOL,

I always wanted to learn to play violin and when I was a mum I started learning :D Its great fun but I don't ever think I'll worry Vanessa Mae :D

Now,  I'd like to be able to move house, we're in a catch 22 situation of needing more room to be able to earn more money but not being able to move without earning more money :( :(  don't really know how to resolve this :( :(
- By jackyjat [gb] Date 02.10.05 06:48 UTC
I'd like to be musical, have some sense of rythmn and be able to dance.  My daughter can do all three and has just told me all about her salsa lessons which sound amazing.  I would like to be able to pick up an instrument (any instrument) and make music with it.  I would like to be able to go to a party and do something other than look like a doughnut!

I guess I would also like to be able to sing well enough for people to leave their fingers out of their ears when I do!
- By jackyjat [gb] Date 02.10.05 16:51 UTC
I've thought about this all day and would like to add a request that all of a sudden I can become sporty too.  Having suffered from (periodically) quite bad asthma, I've never been athletic; been able to run any distance or swim.

Watching youngest son on the football field today I got a sudden yearning to be able to run!  It soon passed!
- By cutewolf [gb] Date 02.10.05 18:18 UTC
I wish I could talk to people. Wish I didn't have social anxiety :(

And I wish I had the determination to work hard at college! I know I could do well if I tried, but I don't try...
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 02.10.05 22:11 UTC
Cutewolf, it will come eventually I can assure you!  THere's only so much **** that you can take from people before you start standing up for what you believe in and express yourself.  I'm still fairly quiet at 34 but if I know that I'm right about something and someones talking a load of rubbish I'll tell them :d  It's taken me a long time but I'm getting there now.

Well back to the subject in hand.  I wish I could act, always wanted to, think that I definitely could but haven't got the guts to do anything about it and I'm getting a bit old now :d  Also don't have a bad singing voice either and would love to do something on that side of things too!  Oh well, maybe one day?
- By Tracey123 [gb] Date 04.10.05 13:10 UTC
I do a lot of dancing and it is the most rewarding sport (apart from horse riding!). You get the achievement of actually learning something and improving it and also you get the added benefit of keeping fit! We are holding a show on the 30th October so rehursals are quite intense at the minute but I love it and it helped me to lose 3 stone! Still got another 3 to lose though!!
- By Nikita [gb] Date 02.10.05 20:57 UTC
Fly (not a plane, just me!), speak Russian - well, stick to my beginner's book long enough to learn it anyway ;) - snowboard, play the guitar, sing amazingly...I can do in-tune, but that's about it!

Not be a clumsy so-and-so?  Stop bashing my head against things by accident! :D
