Max is 19 weeks old now - bearded collie x, quite a big dog.  He devours his food (and anything else he can get - leaves, twigs, bark, paper etc.) Last night he was sick after his meal - dried complete+tuna - and sick again before we went to bed, he was a bit quieter than normal.  This morning he's fine, normal puppy behaviour, bounding around, tail wagging but then he was sick even before he finished his breakfast - just complete dry food - he's still interested and looking for food and seems OK in himself.  Don't know whether to see how he goes and give him some boiled rice and chicken later or to take him to the vets. His poo was OK to begin with then loose.  Any ideas what it might be?  His Mum, Molly is fine.

I'd take him to the vets just to make sure. If he was sick whilst eating, could be something he's eaten has got stuck or hasn't settled well in his tummy, and if he's prone to eating all sorts he could have eaten something undigestable which hasn't come out yet (if you see what I mean) and is blocking the way of his food. That's how I would think anyway if it were one of mine.

Yes, he's had tuna before and was OK with it.  I've taken him to the vets and they said his tummy his sore and gave him an injection. They think it might just be an upset tum - probably something he's eaten in the fields, but if he starts to seem unwell in himself or keeps being sick I've got to take him back for an x-ray.  He once ate a pampers baby wipe, sicked it up the next day!!!!!!!!! - that was scary, he could have choked on it.
