Just wondering, if pups are registered with the kc on the breed register, do they then need a different name registered on the working/agility register.  Or, is the one name (ie breed) ok to be used?   Hope this doesn't sound too confusing.   Only reason for asking, is, if my beag does have pups, we would register them with the kc on the breed list but we have someone who wants one of them to be used in agility.

thanks - sarah

The activities register is just there to give an identity to dogs or pups that can't be registered ont eh breed register, their proper registered names will be use in all KC activities.

Several pups I hve bred have competed in Obedience and a freind did Agility with her Champion Elkhound, and now his Dutsh/Bel Champion son, as well as her shown and registered papillons.

thanks for clearing that up.  Just a bit concerned because we show our girls and also used the same kc names when competing in agility.

No no need to re-register them.  Just used the reg No. and name from the breed register.
