Again is my favorite word :-))

I am off on holiday next week and I am going to really try to stick to it.

Went to IReland last week and lived out of a cool box whilst OH tucked into Indians and anything I couldn't have. I was good though.  ;-)

I struggle on the WW plan but it works for a lot of people for sure.  I think I possible changed from that to the SW plan after rejoining for the 100th time :-D :-D

Pam, the trick is to join WW and SW at the SAME TIME, that way you can eat twice the food and lose twice the weight. ;-) :-D

:-D :-D

OH please Kath..

I was just thinking about you last night when I glanced at my front row tickets for Philly in Glasgow in Edinbugh ;-)
- By kath_barr [gb] Date 30.09.05 14:01 UTC
You lucky girl! :-)
- By Blue Date 30.09.05 14:16 UTC
I will tell him you were asking for him ;-)
- By kath_barr [gb] Date 30.09.05 14:22 UTC
No, just kidnap and send him to me ;-) :-D
- By Blue Date 30.09.05 14:27 UTC
Hey kath, This is his last tour. I went to Manchester as I didn't think he was doing Glasgow this tour and didn't want to miss him.. then they put on Glasgow so off I go again. This will be the last I see him :-(

Such a suberb performer. Unless you see him it is hard to explain. :-)
- By Blue Date 21.09.05 12:40 UTC
BTW wait till you watch the DVDS the blond twits at the back of the guy will have you either laughing or screaming. We spent more time laughing at them that anything last night. Well that and getting 3 dogs ready for Ireland.  When I got to bed I looked like a snow man with chalk :-)

What's with the stupid hand movements with the bint on the right???

Have to say, for an American, the bloke wasn't tooooooo irritating.

M.

:-) is she every annoying she keeps laughing to someone at her left and copying the guy. Big stupid grin. Very off putting if I say so myself :-))))   I guess they were free.   I think the ab part is a bit of a gimmick, like anyone is going to by a trampoline that size to do sit ups on ;-)

Bong bong bong !!!!!!
- By Blue Date 21.09.05 09:05 UTC
I was just Kidding Clairey,  I just couldn't help saying it when you said , you wouldn't mind the Videos so you would know what to do  :-))

The Videos are quite good if you like following a routine but to be honest I think if you put a decent CD and do your own routine it has the same affect ;-)
- By ClaireyS Date 21.09.05 11:32 UTC
I think I will do a bit of bouncing whilst watching tv, will it burn fat though ???
- By Lily Mc [gb] Date 21.09.05 11:49 UTC
Same types of benefit are quoted in most places, so assume they're reasonably accurate with regular use:

Benefits of Rebounding
A zero-impact exercise, rebounding provides many benefits for you and your body:

Improves circulation
Increases the capacity of heart and lungs
Lowers cholesterol levels
Improves co-ordination and balance
Reduces stress and tension
Improves muscle tone (particularly legs, thighs, hips, abdomen and arms)
Increases energy and vitality
Boosts the lymphatic and immune system (so should reduce cellulite)

I see that it doesn't mention "Gives you black eyes"!!!!!!!!!!
- By Lily Mc [gb] Date 21.09.05 12:12 UTC
Haven't got the boobs for that myself, Val ;)

Did that pedigree come through?

- By Val [gb] Date 21.09.05 12:17 UTC

:-D :-D

You just hold onto them :-)
- By polly_45 [gb] Date 21.09.05 01:31 UTC
Ok do they work, as ive gone from a size 8 to 10 in less than 18mths. if i wont do myself any harm i will look on ebay an invest in one. only if fellow champ doggers dont laugh when im sharing this with a 14mth old boxer who tries eberything.lol
- By Charanda [de] Date 21.09.05 06:42 UTC
Polly - I think its working, I haven't noticed any weight loss but I'm feeling a bit fitter than I did when I started.  My first attempt I managed about a minute before running out of puff but now I'm up to 3 minutes a go (I am really really unfit)!!  :D

Glazby my 3 year old boxer has tried it out with me but has decided that its all a bit scary for him the big woose!!  ;-)  He now likes to jump on the floor next to me whilst I bounce away and has a good old bark at me!!  :D

Mine has a weight limit of 15 stone and feels nice and sturdy.  My two main worries before I started were firstly that I'd put my head through the ceiling but they are actually made for indoor use and you only actually bounce about 4 inches.  My second was that I'd go through it so am happy that it is so secure!!

Third worry of course was black eyes and so far I've even managed to avoid them!!  ;-)

What's a size 8?  :d  I wish!  I think that everyone's talking me into getting one I need to get fit. My bike is still sitting in my bedroom after buying it a year ago and trying it out only once!
- By Val [gb] Date 21.09.05 17:16 UTC
Size 8???  My left leg is size 8!!! :D

And I bet that your bike looks very nice in your bedroom. ;) Much better than getting dirty on the road!! :)
- By Lily Mc [gb] Date 21.09.05 18:01 UTC
Her right leg is a size 12 - she walks in circles a lot :D :D :D

(No reflection on Val LOL, just the way my mind worked when I read that.)

Reading your reply and pondering mine Val.  Think I'm just getting more confused, I'll mate her to next door's (nasty badly bred) Border Terrier instead and have me some nice Brollies!

:D :D

I am knackered  It would be nice to get my bouncer out and try it but so far today I have, cleaned all our bathrooms including descaling all the taps, cleaned all the windows all 25  of them inside and out (conservatory included in that :) ), painted the bottom stairs walls including glossing, taken the dogs for a big walk and then cooked the children their dinner. Oh yes and this morning when I got up I did go on my walker for half an hour

I think if I got the bouncer out I would sit on it and get somebody to gently bounce me up and down so I don't spill my wine :D :D

- By Charanda [de] Date 29.09.05 07:01 UTC
Well - I'm doing my 5 minutes every lunchtime and evening now.  I feel like its part of a work out as I do my 5 minute stretches, my 5 minutes rebounding and then a 30 minute dog walk altogether!!  :D

Don't think its really started toning me yet but I'm now capable of speech when I get off it so I must be getting a bit fitter!!  :D
- By ClaireyS Date 29.09.05 07:32 UTC
and mine is still in the wrapper ...........
- By Carla Date 29.09.05 10:38 UTC

- By Carla Date 29.09.05 21:59 UTC

- By Blue Date 29.09.05 22:03 UTC
What for your apron ;-)

I have been making 200 cookies tonight and trying like hell not to eat any dough :-((  I have pinch a couple of bits now feel ashamed.

I would have been cheaper and easier going to Sainsbury and buying two ton of shortbread :-))
- By Carla Date 29.09.05 22:13 UTC
for my overhang :D :D

oh I don't do baking... not since I lovingly and very carefully followed the instructions for a sponge cake in my Delia cookbook...methodically measured all the ingredients and set them out, mixed it all together following the instructions religiously... only to find I had forgotten to add the eggs and the cake was as solid as a rock in the oven. And it was too late too stir it them in after no matter how hard I tried :D

I rely heavily on Mr Kipling these days :D
- By Blue Date 29.09.05 22:34 UTC
The apron is the over hang LOL I heard Sharon Osborne saying she had a tummy tuck to remove her apron LOL > perfect word for it :-)

The apron is the over hang LOL I heard Sharon Osborne saying she had a tummy tuck to remove her apron LOL > perfect word for it

I believe the op is actually called an apronectomy!  I was watching the X-Factor last week, and I thought "God, Sharon Osbourne is a fabulous advert for plastic surgery!"
- By Blue Date 30.09.05 12:05 UTC
Think she has had it all done now.

EVEN a gastic bypass... :-D
- By spanishwaterdog [gb] Date 30.09.05 14:09 UTC

- By Carla Date 01.10.05 11:59 UTC

- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 01.10.05 13:26 UTC
I know, my dad's going to go mad when it arrives at their house :d  I bought a bike last year and I've only rode it once :d  I set it up all on my own though, that got me sweating quite a bit!
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 07.10.05 21:55 UTC
Yeah, it arrived today, so had a good bounce tonight :d

- By me_n_pero [gb] Date 08.10.05 21:31 UTC
LOL nope :D .... Allthough 'little' woof man over here may go on it as he is starting to look slightly plump
- By Carla Date 08.10.05 21:40 UTC
I got on mine yesterday - managed 3.5 minutes before collapsing :D

However, I then went out to tread down the horse muck heap in my wellies (hasn't been done throughout my pregnancy) and just about nearly DIED!! Who needs a trampoline with 3 foot tall pile of muck to bounce on eh!!
