Hello,

I have a puppy, (a bulldog) well she is over 7 months now and she has not come into season yet.
As I never had dogs before, I thought that she would be due at 6 months.
I noticed however that she has a terrible:o) habit of sitting and turning around like a piroette in circles, as if she is itching down there...
Do you recognise this behaviour?
Should I take her to the vet?

I wouldn't worry about her not coming into season yet.  It can vary greatly.

However, what you are describing sounds like she may need her anal glands emptied, especially if she is dragging her bottom along the ground too.  You would need to take her to your vet to have them emptied if you have never done it before.

my nana years ago had a cavalier king charles and he used to do that he needed an operation on his anal glands so go to the vets
