We are interested in buying a Weimaraner pup as a pet.  We live in Fife and would appreciate if someone could contact us.  We would be prepared to travel throughout Scotland and North of England.  Telephone 01592 620956, or e-mail jhwallacekyt63@aol.com

Many thanks

If you have a look on the kennel club website, there are a few breeders listed near you. You will have to register, but it is quick, free and easy. :-)

Get in touch with either the Weimaraner Association or the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain or the Weimaraner Club of Scotland, all of which are on the net.

They will be able to send you details of members litters.

Members of both have to adhere to a code of ethics/conduct which means bitches are not mated prior to 2 years old, do not have more than one litter every 12 months and have no more than 3 litters in their lifetime.

They also agree only to breed from stock that meets the breed standard and only when there are sufficient enquiries to warrant a litter and undertake to help with rehoming and advice.

The KC may send you a list of litters but it is not a stamp of quality or approval.
