I give mine (when I can get them) Tesco Value chicken wings. As long as they're raw, they're not too sharp, especially if you hold one end while your dog crunches at the wing and breaks up the bone.

Yep, I buy tesco value chicken wings too :)

Yep, crrrrrunchy!

Asda or Tesco value wings, although asda seem not to have any these days, perhaps they have special chickens with no wings.

They are rather scrawny though, so i usually try and get hold of chicken wings off the local market which are twice the size and are £1 for 2lb.

Mine are having amp chicken necks tonight thouhg (blargh, they are a bit grim)

Mine has Sainsbury's value chicken wings and I agree they are scrawny!  Not that Nero seems to mind!  On the chicken wing subject do anyone elses dogs leave any of the bones when eating wings?  Everytime Nero eats a wing he leaves exactly the same 1" long bone?!

He needs offal once a week.I think it would be better to try and feed more variety but would probably do ok on what you are suggesting

sling in some beef/turkey/venison/whatever else you can think of every so often, and yes, and probably the supplements arent needed!

Gabi likes pigs trotters (some places call them pigs feet) and oxtail and makes a change from chicken wings.

I buy my chicken wings from asda too, i have a very strong pair of scissors and cut them up into about 3 or 4 pieces. i find this way much better.
Some one told me if you want to stock pile them, you can ask the butcher at asda ect and tell them you are having a bbq and they will sort out a larger batch for you. not sure if this is true, too scared to try lol

My girl gets chicken wings, ribs (pork/lamb/beef), offal mixed in her gloop (veggies, mince beef, seeds, yog, egg), once or twice a week, sardines and any other fresh fish going cheap (except bright yellow haddock/cod), rabbit when available, adores sheeps heads but I hate chopping them up - (yuck!) and tripe occasionally.  I try to balance meals over a 3 week period - as best I can -  but she does get a lot of chicken wings because they are more readily available.  I also give her kelp, Salmon Oil/Omega 3 fish oil, vit E and Vit C.  I've have been feeding BARF since she was 4 weeks old with absolutely no problems, she bouncing with health - definitely brighty eyed and bushy tailed and only one trip to the vets - to remove a tick.  Btw she's 11 mths.
