i cannot seem to find the code of ethics for miniature dachshunds ! i have looked on the breed club sites, but there is nothing there about how many litters a bitch can have & the ages she can breed from . i have emailed a few club secretarys, but not recieved a reply yet, this question arose from another thread , but i have been unable to find out !! please could anyone help ?

You could try phoning the secretaries, in my experience many dog folk are not as computer literate as their web sites would suggest ;) and avoid their emails for as long as possible.
If not, hopefully, a club member here will come along and enlighten us but if, in fact, there is no code stipulating different I suppose that would mean they consider the KC code of practice covers it adequately for their breed.

If you go onto one of the membership application forms it should come up there.

Oh Yes! Well, that's a bit obscure isn't it? :) If you weren't thinking of applying for membership and just wanted to know what to expect from a breeder who you might want to purchase a puppy from you would never know!
Having found it it does not seem to determine any minimum age or maximum number of litters so back the KC code after all ;)
