Hi
I've been bathing Sophie in Johnsons baby shampoo but don't think it really gets her clean.  Any suggestions for a non-stinging puppy shampoo?

ive always used johnsons puppy shampoo for my pups, its sold at most pet stores and they do a large range of shampoo`s

I use plush puppy products I know they're quite expensive but do find that I dont get that wet dog smell afterwards and their coats are lovely and believe me they have a lot of coat they're beardies www.plushpuppy.co.uk

I think I used Johnsons puppy shampoo, it was something off the shelf at a pet shop anyway. Have to admit with the new puppy I've just been using diluted ordinary dog shampoo - totally forgot about puppy shampoo and now she's 10 months old doesn't seem worth buying it! :-)

I have this too. 
I bathed a baby puppy (9weeks) in it.  Had never done one this young, but it was flying to the USA in the Cabin with it's new owners and they bath their dogs all the time, and wanted her bathed for the journey.

It felt ever so strange like bathing cotton wool, all slipery and strange feeling.  She did smell nice, but I ahve never found that young pups (of my northern breed) smell at all, it is only their feet. 

I usually do their feet in baby bath liquid using a spnge, as they really honk when it has been raining, a nasty mixture I suppose of rain, pee and disinfectant/bleach, and the natural smelliness of dog feet.

I also use this if they have rolled or sat in anything, but have never doen a full on immersion bath on anything younger than about 8 months.
