you stuff your kong with?
liver/pilchard/tuna cake, cheese spread ( cheapy from supermarket)
mashed banana
nature diet
bits of fruit n veg ( small bits mixed with the cheese spread) some of his dry food too :-)
i freeze the larger kong as it last longer ( ideal for supermarket run :D )
Left over meat, cheese, sometimes and egg and microwave it for a minute, biscuits, cake crumbs. Just about anything that I can squish in to it.

Kong stuffing - liver paste usually. Mind you, it still doesn't stop her howling when she has to sit in the crate and watch me training the other dog at the training club!!

Just out of curiosity, am I the only person with a dog who will not touch a Kong? He actually hates anything made from rubber to the point that when he was still at the bitey stage, if he chewed on me I'd wave one of his rubber toys at him and he'd stop and look at me in disgust!

My puppy won't touch rubber toys either! Bizarre isn't it. I thought that a kong would keep him going for ages but he won't touch it no matter what I put inside. Think its because he loves destroying things and after a few chews he obviously decided that the kong was indestructable therefore no fun! Mine prefers empty cardboard boxes.......?!

Very tough rubber chew toys in various shapes and sizes that are supposed to be very attractive for chewing and nearly indestructible (though my puppy's making a good job of chewing hers up gradually). They have holes in so they can be stuffed with things to make them even more exciting! My puppy is addicted to hers, one of my adults has a sniff occasionally, and the third dog just ignores them all!

Mine have never been persuaded to like them. As young pups the6y will pick one up and throw it around a bouple of times but that is it. As for chewing they want a proper bone for that.
thanks for telling me !! though i can imagine the mess if u put yoghurt in !!! not to be used indoors in that case !!:)
hi brainless, not at the Darlo show ?

No too far for me.
I normally don't go any further than Stafford in a Northerly direction, though I made a weekend break of it going to Scotland for the Hound Assocaition of Scotland show in the Spring, so that was my holiday this year.
Last year it was a trip on the coach to do the St Patrick show, and in 2002 I spent nearl;y a week in Holland for the World show. Don't really do holidays as apart from the expense of the holiday I couldn't afford to board the dogs.
I can just about arrange a bit of dog sitting between doggy freinds and the offspring for the odd night now.
i know what u mean !! im going on holiday for the first time in 16 years, in a couple of weeks , now that the 6 kids have grown up !! and the arrangements ive had to make for the dogs are unreal !! i wont use kennels & couldnt afford it anyway. :)
