Are there any cocker spaniel stud dogs in Kent?? We have an entire female, black cocker with an excellent temperament who would make an excellent mother. Good pedigree lines.
Please contact me if anyone can help.

Did you have any luck finding your GSD breeder TD? :-)

Leigh,
I was actually looking for a breeder or GSD lover that I could just chat to, etc.
Hope to hear from you if you wish top chat.
My email address is teadee69@aol.com.

Why do you want to breed from your bitch? Do you want to keep some of the offspring, and would you be able to home the rest? I am sure that there are Cocker Spaniel stud dogs in Kent- although you might have to travel much further afield for a 'good match' but please, please don't do anything until you have spoken to your bitch's breeder. Do you show your girl? How does she compare in the ring with other Cockers? Has she been hip scored? Does she have a current clear eye certificate? Do you know what breeding lines would marry well with hers( her breeder should be able to help with this). You could go along to the shows and see what particular breeding takes your eye - I can't think of a better way to spend time:) Breeding any dog is a very serious issue and one not to be undertaken lightly. If you decide to go ahead, then please seek expert advice first. Good luck:)

Jackie,
I read your message with interest!!
I was asking for a friend who wishes to breed but does not have interent access. I am more knowledgeable on GSD's, but thought as hse was here would post the question. She was not aware that cockers needed hip scoring and I was actually trying to put her off the idea. The answer ro most of the questions is probably NO. I have now found out from her that the bitch probably wasn't change of ownership when she was purchased from breeder so the answer is definitely NO. I will give her these possibilites and hope I can talk her out of it.
Thanks to all of you for your advice.

You really need to go back to your bitches breeder to get some advice from them. All of the reputable breeders that I know endorse the pedigree so that any puppies bred from their bitches/dogs can't be registered with the KC.
If you need any help tracking down the breeder there's lots of people on here that can help you. What's the kennel name of your bitch?
I got my 6mth old black cocker from a breeder in Kent, but I don't suppose for one minute it's the same one. If it is you'll have a very difficult time convincing her to remove the endorsements if your girl hasn't done extremely well in the show ring and had her eyes and hips checked.
