We are so disapointed as this year all our wild field mushrooms are infested with tiny tiny flies. We even got up at 5am to pick the early ones this morning but even the smallest unopened ones had them in. There are tiny weeny pin holes in the cap which give them away & even the ones with no pin holes seem to have them as when you start to fry them the litle critters start streaming up the stalks to get away from the heat source! Has anyone else had this problem this year & if so have you got a solution please??? I usually make gallons of muchroom soup this time of year & freeze it, but canot bring myself to eat bugs!!

The mushrooms will be fine now, lib. All the creatures will have left them and taken refuge in the rest of the sauce ... :p :D

You will have to get a tooth pick and prize the stuck ones from in between your teeth :D :D

You can leave those on the side of your plate. :)
