you had better ask someone else but in my opinion i would not have thought that was a good diet for a large breed growing puppy

1lb of tripe and 1lb of mince is NOT a balanced diet for a dog lettalone a growing pup :( Your dog is no doubt looking for more food because the food you are feeding is not meeting his nutritional needs.

Guest can you please join? So much damamge can be done if dogs, especially large breeds are not fed correctly when they are young. You could be putting him in grave risk of hip dysplasia and all the other horrible things that come with inadequate nutrition.

NO!

IF you are feeding raw meat, you need to feed raw meaty bones, not just minced beef and minced tripe.

You need a diet that is around 60-80% RMB's, the rest being made up of offal, veg, muscle meat, raw eggs and fish.

Please join the forum, and also google, and search this forum for 'BARF' feeding, or 'raw feeding'.
