hi all im after a smooth coated, short legged patterdale terrier for stud around the notts and s. yorks area. preferably from working strain.

Patterdales dont have short legs!  certainly not ones that work, most working folk wont allow their dogs to be used on pets as they are a working dog only and do not wish to promote the breed as pets.  if you do work your dog, then I would of assumed you already have the relevant contacts.
