I dont think a Golden cocker would be suitable for a retired person unless you have really looked into the pedigree and breeding, as lately alot of golden cockers are being sold with "Cocker Rage" mainly in Golden's.

:rolleyes: Really?  Where's the evidence of this??  You do know that many different breeds can suffer from Rage Syndrome (not "Cocker Rage") and it is often misdiagnosed in the place of behavioural problems and other medical causes.  True rage sydrome is in fact very rare.  Such flippant remarks are not at all helpful to the OP.
