my pups are so hungry lol, the vets have told me to start weaning my pups now there just over two wks old the vet said you can start them early as theyve been hand reared normaly id wait till there were 3-4 weeks before id start this and put them straight on to wet bisciuts and meats could anybody give me any light on this matter as to what i should give them or rather what is best for them thankyou

I start mine with scraped raw beef. I get a piece of steak and use the blade of a knife to scrape the flat surface to create a soft pulpy paste. This has absolutely no stringy bits for a pup to choke on.

For the first few days each pup (dalmatians, so a medium-sized breed) is given no more than a teaspoonful once a day, then a teaspoonful twice a day, fed from my fingers. I find that's plenty to get them started without risking overloading their stomachs.
