Hi I don't know really where to start. I have a King Charles "cookie" who I have only had for nearly 3 weeks. He is 13 weeks old. My worry is that he had an upset stomach and a was not eating for a few days but got that fixed at vet however he seems lively enough but he dosn't seem to drink all that much and I am feeding him Pedigree puppy but he does not eat it unless he is really hungry.
Can anyone suggest a good food and any thought on the water.
Also (sorry for all the questions) when can I take him to behaviour classes and does anyone know of any in glasgow/paisley Scotland.
Many thanks
We got out Cavalier at 10 weeks back in May and she didn't drink much during the day. We were feeding her Pedigree Puppy tinned which the breeder had started her on. I posted a message on here and a few people replied that there was probably enough moisture in the food for her not to want to drink a lot of water. Poppy did go off her food for a while and it was suggest that I warm it up in the microwave for a few second (about 15-20) as this brings the flavour and aroma out of moist food - make sure it's not too hot before giving the puppy the food. I've done this and it works. From time to time I also add a few scraps of ham, chicken or some cooked mince just to liven it up a bit and make it more interesting.
You can take Cookie to training classes once he's had both his vaccinations and is allowed out. Sorry, don't know of any in Scotland.
Why not ask at your vets about training classes etc for puppys, They usually know of all the trainers etc in the area :-)
