Do any of you also suffer from these? When you spend all day walking round muttering 'I dont believe it'.

Ive had one today and need to let off steam.

First I wnet to pay credit card bill and was told that 'Barclays no longer accept cheques drawn on other banks accounts'. I asked when this had changes and when I had been notified. Answers: recently and never. So they suggested that I pay all of the cheques in to my barclays acct and then write one cheque. I explained that this would make me late paying and would they therefor be prepared to cover the charges? Of course not! Anyway after I had made a fuss they decided that they would take the cheques just this once with my account details on the back. To which I explainded it wouldnt happen again as I was closing the account.

A number of small incidents followed throught the day culminating in my being told off for standing in what has always been a 'basket only' queue at Tesco with 11 items. Apparently it has change over night and I didnt happen to look up at the signs  GRRR

My day was pretty crapola too.  Just returned to work after 2 weeks off.  There were 242 emails in my in box, and I had to work 2 hours overtime just so I could all the things "to do" in some semblence of order.  I hate my life :(  Why can't I win the piggin' lottery eh? eh? eh?

Well today I woke up not feeling too well, nothing specific just really tired :(  so didn't get too much work done, went to collect young-un and ended up chatting to one of the mums while the two children kept themselves very busy sitting on the grass drawing and chatting (she's just joined the school/class :) )  so my young-un says mam can I have the car keys and sit in the car?  He doesn't 'mess about' so I gave him the keys and he sat in the car and they both listened to the radio, next thing I know? - he's shut the keys in the car, radio on, my bag in full view and keys on dashboard  had to go back to the school and one of the teachers was kind enough to attempt car breaking - he failed so he suggested phoning the cops, they didn't want to know  AA would have taken forever as I wasn't really in any danger ;) and OH had spare keys but was up in the mountains and had no reception on phone - AAAAARGHHHHHHHHH!  we had to leave the car and walk home UPHILL in the scorching sun, about 3/4 mile :(  (I didn't accept a lift as there has to be some downside to locking mums keys in the car and a ride in favourite teachers car would have been sooo exciting ;) )  I got home about 6pm.  I must have sounded like a nutter walking home saying I don't believe..........about a million times GRRRRRRR

When my youngest son was about two months old I looked my bag and keys in the car with him in it.  I have never been so scared.  My husband managed to get him out but it was the worse half hour of my life but luckily he slept through it. ;)

Glad it wasnt just me having one of those days yesterday.

I went to record a programme on Iditarod race at 2pm yesterday and the tape ran out 10 mins before the end of the programme :-(
Ok plan B got onto channel +1hr ( on sky ) rewind tape and try again... already to go .... phone rings
A man 20 miles away tells me he has my delivery package from Iditarod mail order ( delivered to wrong village never mind wrong address  )
OK great have to pick that up.... got off phone and found that i'd missed the first 10 mins of the programme this time.......

Plan C programme airs again on wednesday night, guess who's gonna pre set everything this time :D

Having a bit of a VM day today

I have been on the phone to my works helpdesk for most of the day as having PC problems also making matters worse as I can only use dial up so everything is going at extra slow pace

I have been trying to pay my council tax before we get taken to court ( we have been trying to get a direct debit form for the last few years but will they send us one out, no :Grr: ) As I didn't have the paperwork and ref she refused to talk to me because she quoted 'The data protection act' I finally managed to persaude her that my address could be searched on and she could aks me some personal questions to verify who I am ! :)

I then have been trying to talk to Orange as we upgraded our phones four weeks ago. The handsets are so bad that nobody can hear me as it keeps cutting out. I have had a replacement but it is still bad. They have said that they are not going to do anything as they cannot guarantee that the handsets work in repsect of reception. So why have I been able to sue my old phone without any problems  Mean while I was trying to talk to him and he kept saying sorry you keep cutting out, Arrrggghhhhhh.

Off to talk to trading standards now to see what they say !

I can't believe some people :D :D

Lucy
xx

it does you good to get it off your chest ! :D
- By Bluebell [gb] Date 15.09.05 15:43 UTC
LOL Lucy - mine has turned in to a VM week. You know what your problem is dont you? Technology. If you update something when it is not broken it has a quiet word with the new item and stops it working :D

Hence my mobile is about the size of a small house brick, but at least it works and I can normally manage to send and recieve calls and texts without recourse to the manual and lots of swearing.

Never mind just remember that tomorow is Friday.
