Went to a trade fair in windsor today. left at 6am And only got back at 11pm!!!!
Yesterday i somehow managed to volunteer myself to look after 3 of 9 dogs my mate has :o
She moved out of one house today and isnt moving into her new house till monday and is staying at her mums. So she has 5 dogs there, her son has 1 and I have 3. Makes it easier as her mum is in a bungalow.
Got a phone call to say they wanted to bring them over at 5pm, I was 150 miles away. So they put them in the kennel and run where they will be living this weekend.(apart from when i am at home and they can come into the house for a few hours and act like rugs (5 :o)
I got home to 5 dogs!!!! My 2 in the kitchen, and 3 in the run.
1x13 year old Irish Setter
1 x 4-5 yearold Irish setter
and 1 x 14 year old English cocker spaniel!!!!!!
And I have the electrician coming at 7.30 tommorow to sort my cooker out!!!!!
she has done so much for me over the years so i dont mind at al, but why does things always come all in one go???????

Well off to bed as got to be up at 6 to sort all 5 dogs out before the electrician comes and then off to work for the day!!!!
i dont know how you lot manage with so many dogs!!!!! LOL

I used to look after my mates dogs when I was 13-16. She has hardly any compared to what she used to have!!!!
Over 30 :o And i looked after them all :o
I am deffinatly going to stick to 2!!!!!!! LOL

I don't understand how someone can have 30 dogs! That's millions in kibble every year!

LOL, probably!!!!!!!! I think we got thru about 3 sacks a week and loads of frozen tripe as well!!!!!!!
They werent starved!!!
And the 2 older dogs that are here I looked after when they were younger!!!!!!! And they are still going strong!!!!
Although, went home yesterday to check on them at lunch time and Bertie didnt come out of kennel. Called him, no movement. Walked into kennel and called, no movement. Heart in mouth I touched him. He promptly jumped up and started wagging his tail!!!!!!!! I really thought he was dead!! He is just as deaf as a post!!!! LOL
