I spilled some sweet almond oil on the kitchen floor last night and my very fussy dog licked it up eagerly and was looking for more.
Does anyone know if almond oil is ok for dogs? I was thinking of drizzling some over their food every now and then, especially if it will entice my fuusy girl to eat.

I have googled it but it didnt come up with much info other than it's inclusion in soaps and creams etc.,i couldnt even find any info of it's fatty acid content,if any???

I found these sites which have general info and nutrition charts.

http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=20

This barf site here http://home.earthlink.net/~pawsreflect/nutrition.html says that almonds are good to feed dogs, so I guess the oil alone will be fine :)
