Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / OES Anyone??
- By mich [gb] Date 08.09.05 13:50 UTC
Hi all
I am now the very proud owner of a rescued 14 week old white gsd x oes, she is a delight but quite possibly the oddest little girl i have ever seen (-: . I already have a 12mth old male gsd and the 2 are getting on great. She is very responsive to her training and well socialised, the only problem we are having with her at the moment is that while we are out walking she has a tendency to try and chase the cars and barks at them. I have tried ignoring this and praising her when she is calm around them but she is not getting any better. This is not  a problem that i have ever had with any of my other dogs so i would be grateful for some advice. She doesn't have a problem travelling in the car, infact she loves it!! Also i have never had an oes before and wonder if there are any tips that anyone can give me, she definitely seems to be more oes than shepherd.

Cheers

Michelle

One of my friends specialises in OES with problems, e-mail me on spanishwaterdogs@supanet.com and I'll pass your details onto her, she may be able to advise.
