I have just realised that my time on the computer is being monitored

Thor generally sits by my feet at the computer desk, but every so often he comes up, pushes his nose onto my knee, and THEN pushes my right arm away from the keyboard !!!

After I registered this behaviour, I timed it - and yes - he allows me about 15 mins before he decides ENOUGH! :D :D

Now, my query is this:   do I allow myself to be "trained" like this, and acknowledge that I do spend way too much time on here - or do I exert "Alpha dog" position and ignore his training :D :D :D ?

I get him a PC and tell him to search on how to train a dog then you are killing two birds with one stone :D :D

Also you will get a well trained computer litertate dog as well ;)

LOL Margot, perhaps he isn't asking you to get off the computer, but is in fact asking if you would like a cuppa and a biscuit! :D

I am off to find how you can train a dog to make the tea!!! :D

Hadn't thought of that, Nat - maybe I should show him where the biscuits are .......on second thoughts, I think not :D :D :D

Well put the biscuits in a locked box, and teach him to bring the box and find the keys!! That is actually quite do-able!!! You know what I will be teaching our pup  :P

Margot, No worries this is done by setters aswell...

Natalie forget the biscuit idea, an aussie will soon learn how to put key in lock and turn to unlock and eat biscuits...... :D

Sounds like you've got a clever one there! He knows it's time you did some housework or walked the dog :P
