there is some blue puppies on admart.co.uk
have you seen the price of them though? :-(
they are £1000 each, I think thats a bit steep dont you? :-(

I saw some advertised (KC reg) a few weeks ago for £500 - there are some sensible breeders around.

were i am people have no choice if thay want a blue staffy thats the goin price round liverpool i did see the ones for 500 thow theres loads of irish blue staffys round here i think thats the cheeper way to get a blue staffy these sell 4 about 500 aswell
I would'nt recommend anyone to buy a puppy from someone who advertises on ad-mart.
Not everyone who advertises on admart is a bad breeder, you do occasionally see adverts from decent breeders, its just that they are few and far between.
Where did I say there were bad breeders on ad-mart? I just would'nt advise anyone to go down that route when many reputable breeders can be found via the kennel club site.
I agree Mollmoo, there are so many reputable breeders that can be contacted through breed clubs and the kc.

I BET THE ORIGINAL POSTER IS REALLY PLEASED THEY CAME ON HERE FOR ADVICE, IF YOUR NOT PULLING PEOPLE DOWN WITH YOUR OPINIONS YOU TAKE THE MICK OUT OF A SERIOUS QUESTION.

And what help have
you come up with, Keelan? ;)
Ive heard of so many people being ripped off by people and asking silly prices for blue pups. As for blue genes. You can not sell a pup saying it carries blue genes it just doesent always work that way. I recently had a lady ring me saying she had used a blue stud dog on her red bitch she paid £600 for the stud she was told she would get blues she had not one in the ltter. she emailed me to see if she could get some of her stud fee back. I felt sorry for her but if she had done her home work first instead of thinking of the money she could get from blue pups. she would not have been taken for a ride.

A little humour does no one any harm. Try it some time :)
Well said admin.
And Kelan if you think you can help this person find what they want at a decent price please feel free to to give them your advice.:)
my advice would be to get in touch with your nearest breed club pm me for details, make sure that both the sire and dam are health tested for L2-hga,and eye tested clear,
if the breeder tells you his/her dogs are healthy but haven't had any health tests,i would advise not to buy a pup.
also avoid breeders that advertise rare blue or champagne blue.
blue is a washed out black and is a result of breeding black to black through many generations, and you usually see bad pigmentation faults such as a light nail instead of black, light noses etc
please be careful, many of the blue staffords are very poorly bred, with little knowlege or thought behind it,also don't pay anymore than the average price of a stafford pup which i think is around £500.
hope this helps.
