Topic Dog Boards / Health / Strange lab eyes !!

Hi,
Could anyone help, I have a 9month old Choc Lab and she has strange eyes, occasionally when she has her funny 5 minutes jumping over the furniture etc like a thing possessed, (typical lab trait) her eyes sometimes dilate to different sizes i.e one is a pin prick and the other wide eyed, it looks very odd but doesn't actually affect her coordination/balance and they go back to the same size after she's settled down, it doesn't happen all the time but just thought it was a bit odd.
Has anyone else ever come across this problem ?
Thanks

I havnt had personal experience of 'odd sized pupils' but as I understand it they should react to light and hence should be the same. If one is not reacting or is much slower it could be a problem with the eye. I would take her to the vet to get it checked out.

Mine does get a 'certain look' in here eye when she is about to have a mad 5 minutes :D

One of my Spanish does this but both eyes at the same time, they look really comical.  She's had her eyes tested by an expert and they are fine.  I'd definitely have them tested though to make sure all is OK.
