i have a vizsla not quiet a year old he has been a excellent at sleeping at night but in the last week all he does is howl and scratching as soon as you put him in his crate it seem as we have gone back 5 months he will even do it during the day when we just pop out has any one got any advise to help tryed all the normal like let him bark does not seem to work.

Does he need to relieve himself? Dogs love having the same schedule everyday , is there something you forgot to do? Maybe he's reminding you!

no we are doing every thing the same if i do go down and let him out of crate he will go to sleep on me straight away

Could be an in season bitch nearby - on the other hand, the fact that you say you've gone down to him and let him out of the crate and "he will go to sleep on me straight away" could simply mean that his tentative steps at demanding attention paid off and so it's worth keeping it up ;)
