Hi, I tried to add a post to theend of your topic but it said that there was an error.

Well, funnily enough, I was just watching a program on tv and the lady on the program had smelly carpets due to her dogs. (just general smell of dogs i must add) and what she was told to do is mix bicarbonate of soda with natural oils, sprinkle it on the carpet and leave for 1 hour.
After the hour, hover up and the bicaronate of soda should have soaked up all the bad smell.

thanks
ashleigh

Oooh! Did anybody see the program about training your husband like you would a dog? Well, the behaviourist on there said that if you leave a bowl of vinegar in the room overnight, it will clear the smell...

...hope that was for dog pee, because if your hubby is peeing on the carpet, I'd get a divorce - he-he!
