I'm looking for a decent plastic dog bed, about 36" long, without slats in the bottom as my dobe likes to dig at the bedding every so often.  There'll be a 2" thick foam mattress in there as well as blankets, but knowing him, he'll dig that up too :D

Anyone got any links to shops that sell them?  All the ones I've found so far have slats in the base.  Wicker's out of the Q because it'll get chewed!

Wilkinsons (Wilkos) sell the basic plastic dog beds really cheaply - about ten pounds for a big one.

Mine came from the local animal feed stockist (Countrywide) and cost £7 - £12 ish.  Plastic, solid bottom and very durable.

I have Ferplast ones bought a few years back and they have solid bottoms.  I always put a pad of newspaper in the bottom to absorb any moisture (because they sweat, the reason they puts the slots in some).
