If you scratch Nina or groom her she licks or nibbles you, like she's grooming you as you do her.  Does anyone elses dogs do this?

Not actually while I'm grooming them but when we have finished they both have to give great big 'kisses' back - quite keen to do this to as we normally end up on the floor in hysterics while doggy licks are placed on any bare skin they can find ! :)  Social thing I suppose, we are part of the 'pack' and communal grooming is a pack thing.

Dylan does that too!  It's really cute, but, can get a little hard sometimes!

Both my males have been known to "groom" us for lengthy periods - even when we're just sitting watching TV ;)  It's actually a particularly strong sign of respect.

Thanks for that Teri i do know dogs do it in packs but i was wondering if they thought of you higher than themselves or just shear respect.
