Sorry but I thought you said you couldn't give your dog ND because of the yeast and sugar content?
I did this is a recipe she loved when on nd plus she is still on it mixed with wafcol because you cant change food straight over so i thought id share the recipe with people who do use nd as i wont be for much longer just because i put a recipe for nd on here doesnt mean i use it does it? :)
Sorry forgot to add as in the post it states she loved it meaning no-more

I feed nature diet, but find the easiest way to make it into treats is to cut a well chilled block into small pieces and then dry them out in a low over for several hours - they last well even out of the fridge so long as you make sure they are REALLY REALLY dry - break one open to test if you're not sure. They come out very light and crispy :)
PS -Don't do this with a recipe containing tripe, unless you want your DH to move out!
I did do that digger but this recipe although takes time to do i found worked wonders at training times as it cuts into tiny peices as treats shouldnt be big chunks :)

Don't worry about it, I didn't mean to sound rude either :)
Do you mind me asking why Maddie cannot eat it anymore?

Long story cut short. She has EPI (Exorcrine Pancreatic Insuffiency) and intolerances. Basically she can't have rice amongst other things and the sensitive gold she was on contained rice :( She is doing a lot better now on potatoes, chicken and veg (fingers crossed).
Ahh bless at least shes doing ok now believe it or not theres a lot of dogs these day allergic to rice weird never heard of it years ago when all these different foods were not about anyway good luck :)

She's actually better looked after than my family LOL I'm forever cooking, grinding, chopping, weighing it all out for her for the four meals a day, and I've actually took an allergy myself to the enzyme powder so I have to wear a mask to do it! :D :D
Funny isnt it my dog according to my hubby has more toys than the kids and fed better than him (lol) actually i may be true he is always moaning on about the dogs looked after better than him my motto is the dog doesnt answer me back him and the kids do its a dogs life
