Hi Dannii,
Only the breeder can register a puppy and only if both parents of the puppy were themselves KC registered and free of endorsements.
Regards, Teri :)

Is the puppy mismarked or the wrong colour? What breed is it?
Some breeds like the Boxer can produce white puppies. White Boxers are not acceptable for showing. Most show breeders dont register their white or predominantly white puppies. My uncle got a white Boxer pup from two show winning kennels. "Hurley" is a lovely healthy pup in all ways. My uncle got papers to show the pups ancestors but the puppy isnt registered with the KC. Hurley is a pet and companion - my uncle has Dobes but has always wanted a Boxer so when he heard about this pup, he put his name down for him as he knows the breeder well.
Hope this is of some help to you.

If you know who the breeder is, why not just ask them? Where is the pup, is he/she in rescue?

I don't know them but have been looking on differant websites for about a year, spoken to a few friends that know different people. i just have a feeling that they are good from all of this, maybe you have heard of them Azgard
No she isn't in rescue, she isvery cute and cheap not that, that is why i asking because i would prefer to pay full price. It was more of a query really,
Thankyou

perhaps the bitch didnt fit into the age/no. of litter per year requirements as it was an accidental mating? Suggest you simply ask them rather than rely on speculative comments. I know if I was the breeder I would rather be asked direct than have it discussed on open forum!

Inless they are a licensed breeder breeding five or more litter the rule about less than a year between litters for registration purposes does not apply. So the oly reason preventing registraion would be Mum under or over age or already had six litters.
As Sam says ask.
