Christine I was wondering if you could let me know if a  9 yr old lab girl I have here at rescue , could have alternative protection to  boosters as she has diabetes.
She was put in to my kennels for a few weeks and I felt she was not well  as she was shivering and drinking loads of water and i suspected she had diabetes , So tests were done and it was confirmed.
Her owner felt he did not want to be under pressure giving her insulin injections every morning  and said he was going to have her pts
So I asked him if I could have her as she was so lovely and gentle and he said yes.
I am wondering now if  at this stage alternative would be any benefit to her and if a booster would lower her defences

I wouldn`t have her vax, no I wouldn`t have her boostered. I do believe they`re not necessary & would do more harm than good. Do you have her history? Remember I sent you a list of h/pathic vets in Ireland ages ago, could you get in touch with one of them? Got a new pc & my old favs aren`t on it yet. I doubt at 9ys she would need any nosodes either.
