Hi! A good site to look at is the Dalmatian Telegraph which has lots of information about the breed, breeders, clubs, health tests etc, and a regularly updated puppy list.

For the right owners (ie, tolerant ones with a sense of humour!) they're a lovely breed - for the wrong ones (houseproud ones who like to lie in) they're a nightmare! They're very demanding of human attention, do not thrive if left alone for hours on end and get destructive; you'll always, but always be covered in short white hairs that no amount of cleaning will eradicate; you'll be out and about in all weathers. In return you'll get a fun, loyal, loving companion.

PS - oh, and they don't grow up mentally till they're at least 8 years old. :)

Imagine having a four legged child with spots but a lot cuter and I think that just about sums it up.  As JG says they are a lovely breed for the right owners but are a acquired taste.

Dont forget to make sure the breeders BAER hearing test!
