I'm about to buy a dog bed for our dalmatian. Although it's only a puppy now, we'll get one for the future, i.e. 102cm size

has anybody got any opinions on these beds

I think whicker beds can cause problems if they are chewed, well somebody told me that once.

I have plastic beds for my dalmatians. :) Try to avoid the ones with open slots on the base, though - a friend's dal was busily scraping her bedding to get it just how she wanted it, got a nail caught in the slot and panicked, ending up ripping her nail off. :( Try to get one with the slots on the side.
