Hi,
I've been looking at different breeds and like all of these crossbreds like malti-poo and cocker-poo, they'd be good cause i'm allergic to dogs that malt and i know that poodles or yorkies don't malt but not everyone in the family likes them and also you have to get their fur trimmed. Does anyone know of any breeders in the east midlands for any of these types of dogs cause they look really good and cute.
Thanks.

Poodles don't moult, but statistically 50% of their crosses do, so I would suggest you don't take that gamble. There are many other non-moulting breeds you could consider.
Here is a useful article.

There are NO reputable breeders of these cross breeds.Reputable breeders do not breed crosses to make money from people who are led to beleive these crosses are something they are not.If you want a cross then go to your local rescue centre...to buy from these people is perpetuating a practice that is wrong. You would be far better to buy either one or the other or as I said visit rescue.

Not true. You have no guarantee that these cross breeds will not affect you in the same way as a Maltese or a Cocker!
and i know that poodles or yorkies don't malt but not everyone in the family likes them and also you have to get their fur trimmed.
How do you know that the family will like the crossbreed as you have no idea what it will grow to look like? And if it inherits a coat like the poodle parent, then you'll have to have it clipped every 6-8 weeks for the rest of its life!
You'd be much better to find a breed that you all like and then visit a breeder to see if they affect you. You can always try Petal Cleanse, which has been used succesfully by people who have previously had a proble.
