Contact either the SHCGB or the SSHC who will have a list of reputable breeders. There are a LOT of badly bred Siberians about at the moment, and they usually cost more than the good ones, so make sure you go to a good breeder. Also make sure you know what you are taking on, Siberians are not for the novice owner and are VERY hard work. You will need at least six foot fencing all round your garden with at least a foot buried into the ground, so that they can't dig under or jump over, Sibes are notoriuos escape artists. They must also never be let off lead, as the desire to run and hunt is extremely strong, and they will disappear before you know it, sadly in too many cases under a car. These are just some of the unique traits of this breed. If you think you can handle it, they are fantastic, just very stressful!

not to mention the damage that can be caused by them when they are bored :D

Hi there,
i am the very proud owner of a 9mth old husky, apart from eating most of his beds and all of my trellis, which makes up the top half of my fence which seperates the kids and oki,( i do have six foot fence round the rest of the garden) all has been ok. He is such a joy to own. I definatly have the bug now, i am also looking for another puppy. Good luck in your search

Oh yeah and never even attempt to let them off the lead. I have a all weather football pitch that i use (when not in use by the footballers) and although doing recall in his obideance classes and at home he is perfect, he switches straight off the minute i let him off outside
