hi my husky is pregnant, the only good thing about it is that the boy is another husky as well but they were playing and then i found them stuck together and yeah....
i sound stupid coz i shuld have known it would have happened but i had no idea she was on heat...
i know about the whelping and all because i read about it but im not sure about the puppies...
when do they start eating salmon and puppy food and puppy milk and when they stop breast feeding...and any other things you could tell me
...i have good homes for any puppies so thats good and they will stay in my family...
and im going to desex her afterwards coz i dont want her to have to go through it again :(
any advice please
ive had her vet checked etc but this just came to me now... im not quite sure of alot of information i probly will need to know please any help would be greatly appreciated...

If you are in touch with the dog's breeder, he/she may be able to offer advice.
Also get hold of a copy of "The Book of the Bitch" which is very helpful.

If this accident has recently happened, then your Vet can give her a morning after injection.

I guess the poster may be in the US because of using the term "de-sex". If so "The Book of the Bitch" probably isn't readily available. Guest, here is a link to a  good website that weill tell you pretty much everything:
