I am looking for a dog. their are two dogs that i want but only want one. which one do you think i should get, a weldh springer spaniel or a swedish vallhund?

No one can help you because we don't know what you are looking for in a dog or what your circumstances are. Best thing for you to do is to go out and visit some of each breed & then decide which is the most suitable for you. Either breed you will probably have to be prepared to wait for a puppy. Contact breed clubs secretaries for breeders who would be prepared for you to visit their dogs without being committed to buying. Details for both breeds below:-

I always try to get newcomers to my breed to go for a walk with me and the dogs (#Road walking and to the Country Park for off lead) so that they can see what they are like around other dogs and people as well as what they are like in the house.

I have done this with a lot of people slooking into the breed.

Teh Vallhunds are Spitz like my own breed, and I know a number of Welsh Springers rather well, they are rather different breeds to live with.
