  I've been looking into different breeds and i've liked the samoyed and japanese spitz for ages, but there are ahrdly any breeders around, why are these dogs so rare, oh and could anyone tell me what the guide price is for them.

Samoyeds are not that reare at all, far more of them bred than my own breed.

then n breed standards, Patoral then Samoyed you will get the breed club details.  the secretary will be able to give you details of members with puppies or with litters planned and advise yu about the likely price range.

I'd hardly call either breed a rarity, although the Japanese Spitz is probably harder to get hold of than some breeds. Have you been in contact with the breed clubs? Samoyed & Japanese Spitz
They may look similar but they are very different breeds - can't imagine that both would meet all your criteria as a suitable dog - make sure you do plenty of research on both breeds before deciding.

Only spotted it as wanted to see how much difference therre was in size between the breeds :D
