Hi everyone,I feel so angry but not sure of the right thing to do,
I know for certain that some one is buying puppies from puppy farm, picking them up on the motorway and taking them back to their home and selling them as their home bred pups. This person is fooling prospective owners into believing they are seeing both parents by showing them the dealers own dogs/bitches,said person is breeding on consecutive seasons- pedigrees/kc one season, unregistered on alternative, not surprisingly a large number of these pups are failing .This person is a show judge who should know better but prefers to use this fact to portray a false impression with no regard for the welfare of the animals involved or the poor owners of the bundles of problems being traded
I'm sorry this is soo long but I have spent days worrying over this and I dont know where to start to put a stop to it PLEASE HELP

If you have evidence of any falsification (pups being passed off as part  KC litter that aren't) then report the matter to the Kennel club.

I would then check if they have a License for breeding and one for selling Puppies with the local authority.

Sadly if they have their activities though distasteful are perfectly legal (except for falsifying any paperwork).

thankyou brainless, I will check out the licence situation, my conscience won't let me just turn a blind eye to this, it leaves me feeling tainted knowing that it's going on

I am not in anyway defending this person but are you positive that person concerned is not getting puppies back from bitches they have sold on breeding terms?  It does seem strange a show judge would risk their reputation in this way but then people are not always what they seem.  Good luck.

If you are sure of your facts the breed club should also be asked to look into this as this sort of dealing would likely be against the clubs codes of ethics, adn a breeder/judge is going to care more about their reputation within their breed than any problems with the autorities.

absolutley sure, it started when, due to mating bitches on consecutive seasons, litters weren't large enough to satisfy waiting lists, this person turned to buying in I don't know if these pups are sold with faked papers, or as unregistered, but as the "breeder" doesn't register all the litters (rules & regsthen have to be adhered to) I expect they are unregistered to avoid the breed club / kc knowing what is going on.
Also they judge a different breed in a completely different group.I believe the breed club involved did start to get suspicious hence "going underground"

I know of one also. They pretend to be concerned for the breed but when you know what antics they get up to it is obvious that the motivation behind these scams is money.I have dealt with this in such a way that "should" reverberate right through the ranks of the "show ring" judges and breeders and bring this persons dealings to a halt.Like you I just could not do nothing.
