do most of your dogs have normal text book seasons or not? One of my bitches did but my other one bleeds all the way through and will stand for 2 weeks and even after she has stopped flagging, she will still reverse into our dog and try a weeek or two later as well.( she also tries it on, regardless of whether she is in season or not- our dog growls at her, to tell her to leave him alone!!!)
Whats the earliest a dog has stood and got pregnant and have any of you had bitches that have accepted a dog before or after she was flagging? I haven't but due to my bitches over excitement, wondered if it was possible. Thanks.

I haven't got no experience of this, but i will say that all dogs are different and text books are just there for guidance.  I've seen posts on here where peoples dogs get pregnant on day 18 and 21 at the latest, the earliest i've seen is day 7.

Mine certainly hasn't read the text books - not only has she still not had a first season at 9 months, when the books suggest 6 months is normal, but her 'bits' are so small that my friend who's been breeding for 20 years is astounded!!
