Ive left my paper at home and I wanted to print out driving directions from work as my printer at home is poorly sick :(
Also if anyone knows the address for the open show in Salisbury on Monday I could do with the address for that too ;)

I went to Swallow Field a few years ago and i enjoyed it although i think there is a fee to go into the ground as it is a big county show (or was when i went) we could park near to the ring and i know that i bought a lovely big soft dog bed from one of the stalls nearby. Did well in the show with Muppet (now my heavenly angel) who was only a puppy then and the judge took a real shine to her, the judge was irish so i think he was biased. The others didn't fair so well but we had a nice day out and the people were really friendy. Might try to summon up the courage to have a look this year but can't face taking the gang without Muppet.
I never liked binfield because (sour grapes i suppose) the three times i went it has always been won by the same person with springers. One year (yes okay now very jealous) she won puppy, sporting & open, obviously BIS, BP & RBIS, plus Veteran, Best Condition, Best Six Legs etc in fact there were only two classes that she did not win and that was cross-breed & Junior Handling and she also won Best Novelty as well.

Hi Baylee,
Nice to hear from you! It would be lovely to meet you if you do decide to go to the Swallowfield show, I'm going to go on the Sunday and will have my Beagle boy with me he's average size tri coloured, with black collar with little silver bones on it ( sometimes eaiser to recognise the dogs )!
Would be lovely to see you! :)

Thanks bertbeagle,
I will try to get there on Sunday especially if OH goes out and i'll look out for you. Not sure what i'll be wearing but anything that might make me look a bit slimmer then i actually am, so that's probably something black then but even that doesn't work. It would be great to meet up and cheer you on.
:D Haven't been to either in years...
But am going to Swallowfied on Sunday with my Boxers.
I won BIS there many years ago with my Trudi a red and white Boxer bitch
who crossed rainbow bridge almost 4 years ago now and I think she was about 5-7 when she got BIS
there so that would be approx 7 years ago plus...
I shall think about going to the Flowershow as that's not far from me either.
Depends who the judge is LOL.
Just avoiding Reading like the plague due to the music festival so am going shopping in the opposite
direction :)
I will have 2 brindle and white Boxers there, called Abby and Sophie and my friend will be there too
with her Border.

I will look out for you boxacrazy, I should be there with my two Irish Setter boys all being well. Ive worked out my route to go around Reading instead of through it so hopefully wont get caught in the festival traffic

Aw, I was thinking of the Henley show on Saturday but my friend couldn't come to help. So we're going to St Neots on Sunday, anyone else?

Hi everyone,
Didn't make it to the Swallowfield Show today as my Brother and his wife were over from Bermuda and it turned out the only day we could see them, so I had a family day, lovely to see them but disappointed I didn't get to go along.
Did anyone else go?
If so how did you do and what was the show like?
Did go to a little village Fete show in Wiltshire yesturday and Bert got 2nd in AV Sporting and 4th in Most Handsome Dog ( I was quite chuffed as the judge made a point of saying it didn't matter that he was castrated and she really liked him ). I love judges like that as it gives you more confidence and you go away feeling really proud!
Yes I went...
I got 2nd in the av working class with Sophie and slung in
Open with Abby.
It was so hot and I didn't do the novelties.
It took quite a long time to get through the pedigree classes, puppy & open were the biggest
classes.
Walked around the show but not with the dogs, too hot for them.
Didn't spend any money on the stalls..LOL most unusual for me!!
