Hi l hope you can help me with some much needed information:-

We currently have a 12 year old Springer spaniel and am looking to extend our family with a smaller dog. We have been looking at different toy breeds and am really interested in the Shih Tzu breed, but know very little about them. Can you give me an idea of known problems associated with the breed and an idea of what l could expect to pay for a puppy please.

Do you have any telephone numbers l could try to located a bitch. We are not breeders and have no intention of showing a dog and properly do things completely the wrong way, when we brought Lady our Springer, we went to a breeder once we decided on the type of dog we wanted (she is a pedigree) however she was the smallest puppy but the most friendliest and because of her size had been hand reared by the breeder. We love her, she has a wonderful temperament and just wants to be close to someone all of the time, she loves other dogs and sleeps with our cat and we know she would welcome a new friend. Any help you could give us would be greatly appreciated.
