Hi  I'm looking for a Miniature Schnauzer puppy. I was told to make sure that both parents and puppy have been eye tested. Well at last I've found a breeder, in Scotland, due to have pups shortly and they say puppies can't be eye tested till they are a year old. It this correct? I only want a puppy as a pet,not to breed, so is it still important that an eye test is done? Any help much appreciated. Thanks. Liz

No that is not correct. If you contact the breed club they will give you a list.

The litter of puppies MUST have their eyes tested and then they should be tested yearly.
