I am looking for another dog as my last one passed away 21/2years ago.
She was a miniture Dachshund.
          This time I was thinking of a Swedish VallHund as then I would not be comparing the temperament.
I Hope one of your Members can help me.
         She would be part of a Family, as I am a 63 year old grandfather, however mainly she would be my companion, as My Wife is a nurse and works nights, so I need the companionship during the day and the grandchildren are always asking me when I would get another.

                                      Sorry if I've rambled a bit,   I live in Manchester, 3 Bedroomed house with front and back garden, the dog would be out with me every day as soon as she is innoculated.

Nice choice of breed :) not that I am baised or anything having five of them!

You may have quite a wait to find a vallhund at present, I am only aware of one litter currently with puppies available, however, I am aware of several matings planned for the near future.
