can anyone tell me out of curiosity what you can enter at open shows when you have qualified for crufts.

Depends on what the award was to qualify :)  If a CC then if the dog was out of age specific classes such as Minor Puppy, Puppy & Junior then it could only be shown in Limit or Open at an Open show.   If qualified by winning a RCC or being 1st, 2nd or 3rd at a champ show in regular classes it can go in any class.

IN ORDER TO QUALIFY AT AN OPEN SHOW FOR CRUFTS THE SHOW HAS TO BE A PREMIER SHOW AND IN CERTAIN BREEDS YOU NEED TO GET THE BEST OF BREED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY.

For dogs that have been declared best of breed provided there were more than three breed classes (more than five classes for Stud Book Band E breeds) scheduled for the breed.

(9) If it has won Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show or Best Puppy in Show at a General or Group Open Show between 7 January
2005 and 6 January 2006."

Except that's not the question the OP asks - I took it to mean they have qualified their dog for Crufts already and now need to know what classes they can enter at open show, which has already been answered above. :-)

We have qualified for Crufts with the puppy but strangely enough I hadnt before I asked this question?????? I asked it for a completely different reason than it actually looks.  ! !

Yes we are going to Birmingham but on Saturday I take it yours is a Friday entry !!
