Hi all, I know this topic has been covered before however I have noticed a bit of wet eczema on my boys head - small amount but want to clear it up ASAP as we have a show on the 29th! So my question is what is the best remedy? I know hibbiscrub is supposed to be good but I have also heard that people use other creams etc......can anyone recommend something that I can pick up from town today to try sort it before the show?

Calendula cream is great. You can get it in Boots these days, they call is something like sore skin relief cream. (It does say on the box it is calendula and it is in the section for herbal/homeopathic stuff.)
:) fantastic I shall give it a go, cheers.

I use Benzyl Benzoate, from the chemist, dabbed on neat. It will dry it overnight.

Flowers of Sulphur, dries the hot spots ups basically over night.
Just went on a mad hunt for Benylz b and no where had any in stock, some may have been able to order but I really want to get it sorted now so I ended up coming home with some hibi scrub and calendula cream, I will see how he gets on and if not try the others, many thanks for your help ;)

It's worth having a bottle of BB at home. It's very useful, kills anything that crawls, including cheyletiella, mange etc. Before the latest chemicals, it was all we had and it still works just as effectively!!
