I think everyone has the right to be a parent if they can support their children.  I dont agree that children need a mum and a dad, they need a loving home where they are taught right from wrong.  I also know first hand the heartache of not being able to conceive naturally and it is not a nice position to be in. No its not life threatening but in alot of cases it is down to illness and therefore ivf should be available to those who need it.
