Why do some of the posts have this added in highlighted text to some of the posts?especially when most of them seem reasonable questions?i know you do get some idiots on here ready to wind you all up but most of the posts with this added seem pretty genuine to me!!After all how are we to know if were coming across as a "troll" or a genuine poster when we REALLY do have genuine querys?I would think this puts alot of people off,sorry but cant help thinking this site is becoming more and more unfriendly and hostile towards newcomers by the day:( spose its still ok for browsing though........just dont dare post a question unless your a "regular"

Well it is free to join up you know and we are mostly friendly  ;)

It is friendly really it's not just for regular posts, they have that many people putting bogus questions, so how does champdogs know who is serious and who is not.

From my point of view, some of the same questions are posed on a regular basis and some people don't take the time to use the "search facility" to answer already well discussed topics ;) (sure some of us have been guilty of this at some time)

But unfortunately there are Wind Up Merchants out there that seem to like "goading" members on this site. Of course, they are going to receive a less than friendly response, albeit we know we shouldn't answer them, some of us do so, in case the question is genuine. ;)

On the whole, this is probably one of the most informative sites on the web and because we all take dog ownership so seriously, who can blame us? :)

You only get this warning on anonymous Guest Posts.  It isn't anything agains Guests it is to remind members to think carefully before posting, so that if it is a wind up the WUM doesn't get the satisfaction of causing upset.
