(Lamb is just about to go in the oven ;) with freshly dug new tatties and green beans :) )

The American didn't materialise; long story - she's staying with friends and had a panic attack and wants to go home, but can't till Tuesday, so she's staying holed up in our friends' house till then ...

I've put a joint of lamb in the oven too (roast spuds, carrots and green beans)! It should be ready with our second bottle of wine in time to watch Poirot.
