Have just received my latest litter registrations. to say I am unimpressed
with them is an understatement.

The worst thing is that the 'Certificate Part' has been relegated to two
thirds up the side of A4, to make even more room for KC advertising. You
can't even just tear off the bumph and leave the certificate as the transfer
parts still cover the whole of A4.

The only slight improvement is that the font for the dogs name is slightly
larger/clearer but all other details are tiny even though there is plenty of
room.

New owners I expect will get a nicer certificate when/if they transfer the
registration, but the breeder owner is left with rather an inadequate piece
of paper on which there is little room for the eye testing stamp etc, and I have to put up with haivng the picture of one of the KC Telephone staff and phone no up the side of it.

Now why couldn't they give us certificates of the quality of the Irish
Kennel Club ones. Nice clear text and very nice certificate with embossed
coloured logos etc.

Also 3 of my pups are going abroad, and I picked up the forms from the KC at WKC today for teh Export Pedigre application.  I was shocked to realise that the new owner on top of the transfer fee witll ahve to pay £40 for a pedigree.  Now all the Registraion doucments of other countries I ahve seen include a 3 generation pedigree as part of the doucment.  Now why can't our regaidtraion document include the pedigree for 3 generations rahter than just parents names ans lots of balnk space?  Out of one puppy to be exported the KC earn the £12 fee from the breeder, £40 Export Pedigree and teh transfer fee, daylight robery.

Two of mine are registered on the KC working trials and obedience register and when their certificates came through I nearly cried! I had planned to laminate them and put them up on the wall in a little frame. They were on an A4 piece of paper, tiny writing and the bottom half of the paper was taken up with stuff to fill in in case of transfer of ownership! Why couldn't that bit be on the back? It costs £12 to register your dog and for these certificates. I was not impressed to say the least. :(

Typical of Britain. You pay for something and they fill it up with advertising. Its the american way that this cuntry loves. Big Macs 200 channels of tv muck adverts everywhere to block your vision of anything else.
I got that fed up with it I have removed the telly from the lounge now.

Use your PCs photo shop and make your own for framing. Mick
